Patrick and Alison are 28 years old today. This photo was taken at the hospital with my dad, whose wide girth proved ideal for holding his first two grandchildren.

you're back! It's a great picture of a proud grandad. My grandchildren have been such a joy that despite what I know about over population and all its ills, I nevertheless hope you'll be holding a grandchild or two of your own some day.
