If you knew that, after leaving your job to move to Europe for 14 months, you wouldn't find employment when you returned, would you still get on that plane for Brussels?
It might have made no difference in the long run. Selfishly, I am glad you came to Brussels, I wouldn't have "met" you if you hadn't. But I understand your present frustration and wish you could find the job you deserve.
